The Curve Skincare device: Treatment tips
THE CURVE vs. TIME MASTER PRO - Does one replace the other?
So far, I am finding that The Curve device is pretty cool but I do have a few couple of minor issues. Here are my thoughts:
1. Can be confusing to add to your skincare/anti-aging regimen - see my guide below for your best treatments
2. Really loving the "tightening" on neck and arms - Not so much an instant "wow" but the day and two after, excellent feeling and look of tighter skin.
3. Best for body and around jawline/under chin. I would avoid using on my face (just me) and I definitely think the Time Master Pro is superior in this area (for volumizing, immediate results and overall ease of use due to size).
FIRST THOUGHTS ON THE CURVE:
Overall, this is a really solid device. No hinky rattles and very well made. Definitely not something you’d find for $50 on amazon. Worth the price (in my opinion). It’s designed well and perfectly ergonomic for fitting in your hand for body work.
WHEN DO YOU SEE RESULTS USING THE CURVE?
I have used it on neck/jawline and really seen good results the next day. Same goes for arms and legs. I used it, thought "meh" and then the next day saw firmer arms. The day after that...felt firmer arms! You can really feel the tightening of the skin, but not immediately. Give it 24-48 hours.
This is NOT an instant results-type of tool. You will see some results (better blood flow, less puffiness due to drainage) but best results are going to be after using for awhile.
Does it replace the TIME MASTER PRO?
In my opinion, no. The TMP is still far superior in getting that "plump" look back into the face (instantly) as well as being much better suited to facial work due to the size. You can really work around the eyes and lips (and temple) much better with the TMP.
However, for the jawline: While you can get really nice results with the TMP, you could consider adding The Curve for the radio frequency component. If you have a little extra flab in that area (and most of us do as we age), the fat release of the cavitation could really help.
CAUTION:
While The Curve is calibrated for a gentle RF treatment, avoid using it over the cheeks, lips, temples, etc., especially with the fat loss settings! You could risk losing volume. I still think using the TMP/microcurrent is best for face; The Curve will be excellent for body work/under chin and around jawline.
Comparison of the TIME MASTER PRO and THE CURVE skincare device:
TIME MASTER PRO:
Best for facial work, eyes, lips, temples - Plumping cheeks, lips, temples, wrinkles and reduce puffiness instantly.
LED gives good collagen boost results over time. Great for brightening/glow (instantly) with multi-light and flashing settings.
Still good for arms (I've gotten great results), but temporary.
Instant results, cumulative effects with LED. Should be used twice weekly.
THE CURVE:
Best for the body - really well-made device and easy to use. Large size makes it perfect for larger areas (legs, tummy, arms) and RF plus cavitation ultrasound will help with not only tightening but releasing fat (possibly cellulite) and smoothing skin.
LED will give good collagen boost (over time) and some results will appear instantly; most will take time to accumulate.
Should be used 2-3 times weekly. Could deliver long-lasting results will continued use. Start now for results in 60 days.
Can you use The Curve every day?
With each of these devices, take a BREAK in between uses. Also, when using The Curve for fat loss, do not do a skin/facial treatment same day. Best to take a break between anti-aging and fat loss treatments. Give your body time to do the work you are asking it to do!
Post treatment tips and how to get even better results:
Drink lots of water after THE CURVE treatments.
Do not eat right before or after these treatments (fat loss).
Magnify Results After Using The Curve (BODY/FAT LOSS):
How to Get Even Better Results = Massage area or use a vibration board after fat loss and cavitation treatments will help to release deposits and smooth the skin. I strongly suggest doing a little massage, using a massage gun and/or a vibration board after any body treatment you do at home. These are also ideal to use after a vigorous workout!
A light massage after any cavitation/fat loss treatments is really good to help break up deposits and flush things out. If you have a vibration board or massage gun, you could use these after your treatment! I use this vibration board (by LifePro) and massage gun after these type of treatments and it really does help intensify the results!)
This is the vibration board I use (almost daily - it’s a little bit addictive) after either doing a body treatment or just after working out.
It’s rumored that you can lose a few pounds just by using this daily. I have definitely lost about 3-5 pounds since using it.
If you are using your hands to massage, just apply a light oil or just re-wet your conductive gel (each device comes with its own conductive/treatment gel or cream and massage areas worked. You also want to apply firm (but gentle) strokes using your entire palm and stroke up and down.
Do a massage or use the massage gun for about 5 minutes. You can get on the vibration board for a few minutes after the massage (I like to do about 10 minutes). This will really help to loosen and release extra deposits.
