WHAT TO DO NOW TO LOOK YOUR BEST FOR SUMMER WEDDINGS - REUNIONS - EVENTS
GOT AN IMPORTANT EVENT COMING UP THIS SUMMER?
Here’s my go-to “sure-fire” guide to treatments that won’t waste your time or money and will get you looking your best before your events.
STEP ONE: EXFOLIATE
First, you’ve got to get your skin in top condition!
This is best done with a gentle exfoliator - not just a scrub, but something that will really loosen the dead cells and swipe them away.
I like an acid, like glycolic or Mandelic. These are my favorite ways to get glowing, smooth skin.
You could also use a device like soft peeling SKIN SPATULA for a more intense treatment.
For the body, nothing beats a good exfoliator like the BOD-EX. I use this anytime I need a really good “descaling” of my legs, arms (IT IS FOR BODY ONLY). Great to use before you self-tan!
STEP TWO: START YOUR “LONG-TERM” TREATMENTS
These are treatments that may take a little longer to see results, like RF or things that require a series to get the prime results (like the SKIN ENHANCER, TONISURE, RAYSURE and CURVE.) These all give you some instant results, but are best used in a series.
Get started on the body and skincare treatments with these devices about 4 weeks prior to your event. If you don’t have that long, you can still get nice results in just a couple of weeks if you are consistent and diligent!
STEP THREE: START USING YOUR INTENSE SKINCARE
If you have bought some great skincare (like Neogenesis or HOP+ PILLEO) or growth serum ampoules, masks, etc. this is the time to get them out and start using them consistently (if you have not been).
Doing a weekly light microneedling and using these treatment products will get you a beautiful glow on the big day!
I like doing the microneedling/nano-needling with growth factor ampoules and then doing weekly skincare masks to really boost the hydration and get your skin in top shape!
Start doing this about 3-4 weeks prior to your event.
STEP FOUR: USE YOUR DEVICES!
About two - three weeks (MINIMUM) prior to your event (taking into account you’ve done all of the above), start using your skincare and body care devices. Use them at least twice weekly (TMP: 2x weekly | CURVE 2-3x weekly | MICROCURRENT 3x weekly | SKIN ENHANCER 2-4x weekly)
This is going to give your muscles great memory and build up a nice “lift” that will hold for you. It’s kind of like going to the gym: If you’ve been going, you can get a nice pump in those muscles pretty easily. But it takes the work prior so get started now!
STEP FIVE: PRE-EVENT
Don’t do anything too invasive or abrasive right before your event. Make sure you allow at least 48 hours before and event to do any exfoliation (deep) or microneedling. You could use something light light the Enzyme Mask from Neogenesis or my own favorite, the SELFIE MASK right before your event to make sure you have super smooth, glowing skin!
BONUS: Use a nice light oil/serum on your face and body, like the QUL GLO SERUM. This will give your skin an amazing glow!
