ESTY-APPROVED AMAZON FINDS FOR ANTI-AGING EYES
Esthetician tested!
I love really good skincare for delicate eye areas (you can’t beat Neogenesis Eye Serum or the HOP+ Volumizing Eye Cream - both are excellent for different results but the same reason: They work.
But, when you want something less pricey but still effective and proven, trust the reviews of people who show you they not only own and use the product, but they will tell you the pros/cons of each product.
In other words, truthful and believable.
I’ve tried a few items from the Amazon skincare lineup and oh boy, can they run from good to bad (not to mention FAKE).
Here I’m including some I know that work and that I have used for quite some time (see photo of these in my own skincare lineup).
They all have different purposes and one results in mind: To make the skin around my eyes look more rested, smoother and more plumped (youthful).
And they all work pretty quickly.
Not lasting forever results (of course), but results long enough to carry me through a few hours if not the day, or evening.
And they are all pretty budget-friendly.
What more can you ask for?
First, the BOOTS NO. 7 Lift Luminate Triple Action Eye Cream
Why I like it:
It’s super light and works great during the day.
It help illuminate the eye area so I look more rested and the skin looks brighter.
Also, I mix it with a little concealer and apply and it mixes really well.
It does cause a lot of creasing and greasiness (in my experience).
It’s inexpensive!
I’ve used it for years and I travel with it.
It’s not the most regenerating eye cream for damaged or wrinkled/crepey skin (turn to the Neogenesis Eye Serum for that).
It doesn’t provide volumizing skincare ingredients to build they tissue around the skin (I love the HOP+ Volumizing Eye Cream for that).
However, it works to do what I want and it has some nice skin-loving ingredients. It’s very gentle and does help to even the tone of the skin.
A winner!
Next, I really like the TULA Skincare Spresso Energizing Eye Balm
Wow, how much do I love this one? So, so much!
On those days when you absolutely need SOMETHING to help your eye area, this is my go-to.
I use the light pink one (called Rose Glow), but they have a couple of others or other skin tones.
This not only instantly brightens my eye area (under eye), but even makes me feel more awake. It’s cooling and so nice to use.
It comes in a large balm-type tube (think lip balm) and swipes on in a second.
You can pat it in and apply a little makeup over it if you like or use it alone.
This one is something I will re-order happily.
You can use it in place of your eye cream (daytime). It’s got caffeine, probiotics and hyaluronic acid.
Love it!
Next, I have to say I really like the SilcSkin silicone eye pads. They work so well and so quickly. I almost always use them for a few minutes before “night out” makeup or when I really need the help.
However, when I travel or on just a random Tuesday when my eyes are crying out for me to DO SOMETHING, these are a good workhorse:
If you order products from my shop I have often included these as a special thank you gift.
I like them. I use them. I always keep them in stock.
Now, do I believe they actually have 24K gold in them?
Uh, no.
But, I do know they help to brighten, smooth and plump up the eye area if I wear them for about 15 minutes.
Not bad.
If you like eye patches and need this sort of thing (and really, who amongst us doesn’t now and then?), these are good.
Another good product, with actual gold in it, is the HEVATOX Gold Eye Lift Cream. This one is higher-end and will bring more lasting and effective results. Perfect to use at night (or day) and can be used after your “gold” eye patches for nice results.!
DRMTLGY BRAND - I’ve found this to be a good line
As a side note, if you want something with more concentration of skin ingredients in an eye treatment pad, these are a good brand DRMTLGY Brightening Eye Pads.
This company also makes a good eye corrector (tinted eye cream). I have and use it and really like it. DRMTLGY Luminous Eye Corrector (see it in my own skincare pic)
Of course there are many eye products I like. And I have found a few others on amazon and the like.
These are what I consider “re-order worthy” products.
For me, that’s big because I use and test so many things, it takes a lot for me to re-order and continue to use something.
Just my opinion, but from me to you, they are worth the investment if you’re looking at a zillion amazon and skincare products and dizzy from confusion about what to order!
